We all know about Microsoft finally caving and saying that their console is prone to occasionally turning into afancy white brick, but what was mildly interesting was their marketing speak that continues to this day:
"The majority of Xbox 360 owners are having a great experience with their console and have from day one," Entertainment & Devices Division President Robbie Bach said in a statement.
Just so you know, a 50.001% customer satisfaction ratio is a success in Microsoft's book!

Yet again, I'm not seeing even any vague details about what issues the 360 is having, apart from customer speculation.

I've heard that it's prone to overheating, even with its multiple cooling fans. Here in Thailand the stores selling them post warnings that they should only be operated in air-conditioned rooms...

I've heard the same (especially since refurb'd units are coming back with an additional heatsink), but what bothered me is that Microsoft said they were extending the warranty for the issues that lead to the red ring of death, but then didn't say what those issues were. So if a 360 goes bad and it's not directly related to the issues that only Microsoft knows, the three year warranty isn't worth much.
